It's happened: I meet someone who is really awesome at music and I act all foolish around them. Not only that, but I embarass myself silly in the process, pestering them with questions. This is merely because they are people who play music on the road! For me, that's the ultimate thing to do (with any luck, I'll be doing the same one day). There are scores of people out there we'd be quite star-struck around, but here is one way to avoid this feeling, should you run into someone famous.
Pick one person. This person must be so uber-awesome and so amazing that you think you would literally die if you met them. Next, compare all the other famous persons against this one person. Like: Whenever you find yourself around anyone who could make you star-struck, then do a little comparison ala, "Well, they certainly aren't as famous or as awesome as so-and-so!" Voila. Don't act foolish, just act cool! Never be star-struck ever again.
